今日は新年最初の英語日記を朗読しました。

The year 2024 started with a strangely depressing series of events. No one expected so much to happen at the very beginning of a year. I can only sympathize with those suffering from the unexpected, constantly reminding myself that my thoughts are with them. I even stopped browsing X posts, knowing that many of the “recommended” posts are not pleasant or may be fake. Regardless of the challenges, I have to take another step forward. Thus my new year began. I will start my new year with a new attempt to resume broadcasting via stand f.m. just like I did before. I had once quit it and erased all the recorded posts altogether, but this year, for a change, I will add another routine of sharing my voice through this channel. The talk doesn't just include the TOEFL but also small tidbits of learning English. Reciting a diary like this is another feature of the show. I don't even know what's in store as the year proceeds. I hope it's another bountiful year, bountiful enough to leave behind all the disastrous events of which we've had more than our share.
