天神祭り今日7/25本宮です。
奉納花火大会が開催されます🎆
Tenjin Matsuri is a festival held at Osaka Tenmangu shrine.
Sugawarano Michizane is enshrined at.
He was a scholar, poet, and politician from the Heian period.
The festival began in 951 at the Tenmangu shrine.
It’s called one of the three best festivals in Japan.
In Tenjin Matsuri, they put the spirit of Michizane into Mikoshi
and on a ship then parade it in the city.
Mikoshi is a portable shrine.
Mikoshi in Tenjin Matsuri is also different from the others.
They have "gal mikoshi", which is Mikoshi carried by young women.
The original official name is "Tenjin Festival woman mikoshi".
It began in 1981.
At first, it was just an event but Osaka Tenmangu Shrine has accepted that they visited the shrine from the next year.
They even have fireworks.
It’s the highlight of the festival.
About 3000 fireworks are sent up from the riverbank.
Many people visit to see the fireworks.
日本三大祭りのひとつである天神祭
7/25が本宮です。
本宮では「陸渡御」「船渡御」という行事があります。
神様に氏地の平安を御覧いただこうと、氏子たちがお迎えの行列を組んだのが陸渡御・船渡御の始まりだそうです。
ギャル神輿
正式名称「天神祭女性御神輿」
地域振興と大阪文化の高揚、明るく楽しい街づくりを目指して、天神橋筋商店街の各町内会や商店街組合が協力して「御羽車講」(おはぐるまこう)のひとつとして始まったそうです。
