What is BPPV?
BPPV stands for Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo.
It is a common inner ear problem that causes brief dizziness when you change the position of your head, like lying down or looking up.
It happens when tiny crystals in the inner ear move to the wrong place.
BPPV is not dangerous, and it can often be treated with simple head movements (called the Epley maneuver).
