梅雨を英語で説明に挑戦させて頂きました。
『梅雨』英語で説明
We call the early summer rainy season called “tsuyu” in Japanese.
It is a long rainy season in June and July.
It usually comes around early June every year.
Tsuyu is literally translateed as ‘plum rain,’ because it rains during the season that plums ripen.
梅雨を文字通り英語に訳すと「梅・雨」です。梅が熟する季節に降る雨だからです。
The rainy season it’s not raining season because it rains a lot.
During the rainy season, the humidity increases to about 75% at most times.
Depending on the year, it sometimes brings heavy rain which can cause heavy damage to the affected areas.
But a lot of people think the rainy season isn’t all that bad because we need water for summer.
If it doesn’t rain enough during the rainy season, it may cause water shortage in Japan.
