フルートソナタ変ホ長調より 1章　　J.S.バッハ:作曲（Flute Sonata Es dur ／Johann Sebastian Bach）一尺八寸管尺八七孔虚無僧の修行の道具の一つであった竹製の尺八が、合奏や調律の概念も加わった楽器として昇華しましたが、そのキー毎に対応する長さの尺八を選択して演奏する方が、メロディを奏でるのに適しています。この、バッハのフルートソナタ変ホ長調は唯一曲中で大きな転調が無いため、練習を要しますが七孔の一尺八寸管で奏でることが可能です。現代のフルートの登場前にあった、木製のフルートトラベルソの音色にあたかも近いような印象もありますが、尺八での軽やかさ、音色の深み等もお届けできていたら幸いです。同曲「２章」「３章」も過去の当ダイアリーに演奏をアップしていますのでどうぞお聞きくださいね。 The bamboo 「尺八」(shakuhachi), which was originally one of the training tools used by 「虚無僧」（komusou) monks, has evolved into an instrument that incorporates concepts of ensemble playing and tuning, but for playing melodies it is better to select a shakuhachi of the appropriate length for each key. Bach's Flute Sonata in E flat major is the only piece that does not have a major key change, so although it requires some practice it can be played using only a seven-hole, 1 shaku 8 sun (1 shaku 8 sun) flute. It gives the impression of being very similar to the tone of the traverso wooden flute, which existed before the advent of the modern flute, but I hope that I have also been able to convey the lightness and depth of tone of the shakuhachi.
