Hello, this is Engopa.
I really love reading “Hiden no Sho,” the blog that my teacher writes every day.
Reading it has naturally become part of my daily routine, and even after I finish, I often keep thinking about the words.
I never really had a chance to talk about those feelings or the things I wanted to say back.
So on this channel, I’d like to share what stayed with me in my own words, without sharing the actual content of the blog.
Today’s Hiden no Sho made me think about my vocabulary app.
In that app, ten words appear at a time, and I answer multiple-choice questions until I remember them.
But when I did not know nine out of ten words, I gradually started to dislike studying.
It did not feel like learning.
It felt like I was just making mistakes again and again.
In the end, even after two years, I had studied for only about twenty hours.
Then I stopped using the app for about two months.
But after I joined the online salon, I was able to start again little by little.
Through this experience, I realized that studying does not always mean choosing a difficult level.
Sometimes, lowering the level is not giving up.
It is a way to rebuild the foundation.
I want to increase the number of words I understand.
I want to increase the number of times I feel, “I got it.”
That may be the best way for me to keep going.
That is what I was thinking about today.
What did you think after reading today’s Hiden no Sho?
I’d love to hear your thoughts too, if you feel like sharing.
Thank you so much for listening.
See you in the next episode.
