Today, I was thinking about going to a place I do not know yet.
When we are going somewhere unfamiliar, we sometimes meet someone along the way.
It is not that we decided from the beginning to travel together.
Maybe we just happen to walk in the same direction for a while.
But during that time, we may talk, laugh, or exchange small words.
And later, when we look back, those small moments can stay in our hearts very strongly.
Each person has a different destination.
The place we are aiming for, the speed we walk, and the place where we stop may all be different.
Still, the time we spend together on the way can become an important memory.
Of course, reaching the destination is important.
But the people we meet on the way, and the conversations we have with them, may be just as meaningful.
I think this is true for English learning, work, and online communities.
At first, we may start something for ourselves.
But as we continue, we meet people, talk with them, and sometimes feel encouraged by them.
Sometimes, one conversation changes the way we see things.
And when we look back, the result itself may not be the only thing we remember.
We may remember the people we met, the words they gave us, and the short time we shared together.
So I want to value not only the place I am going to, but also the people I meet on the way.
