I really love reading “Hiden no Sho,” the blog that my teacher writes every day.
Reading it has naturally become part of my daily routine, and even after I finish, I often keep thinking about the words.
I never really had a chance to talk about those feelings or the things I wanted to say back, so on this channel, I’d like to share what stayed with me in my own words, without sharing the actual content of the blog.
Today, I want to talk about the quiet beauty of studying on a rainy day.
I think it is really beautiful that Yagi-san can enjoy the emotional atmosphere of a rainy day.
There is something refined and mature in that kind of quiet appreciation.
Reading today’s message made me think about what rainy days are like for me too.
And I realized that I also have a way of enjoying them.
I like studying in my study room while burning incense.
On rainy days, the room feels slightly more humid.
And in that air, I like a light sandalwood scent.
It helps me settle into the room and into my study time.
When I have been studying for a while and start to feel tired, I sometimes spray water on my plants.
That small moment feels really nice.
The air becomes a little softer, and I feel like I can breathe again.
Moments like that make me realize that study is not only about effort.
The space around me matters too.
Maybe that is why having my own room changed something for me.
Since having a space of my own, I think I have started to enjoy studying more.
Not because studying suddenly became easy,
but because I now have a place where I can enjoy the process.
A rainy day, a quiet room, incense, a little more humidity, and a moment with my plants—
All of these small things make studying feel richer to me.
So when I think about studying on a rainy day, I do not only think about productivity.
I think it is also about atmosphere, comfort, and learning how to enjoy my own time.
That is what I was thinking about today.
What did you think after reading today’s Hiden no Sho?
I’d love to hear your thoughts too, if you feel like sharing.
Thank you so much for listening.
See you in the next episode.
