【高齢社会探訪記025】自立と自律を取り違えない自立と自律。同じ「じりつ」でも、意味は異なります。自立は、自分の力で生活すること。 自律は、自分の意思で選び、決めること。介護の現場では、この二つを取り違えてはいけません。一人で歩けない。 一人で食事ができない。 一人で着替えることができない。だからといって、その人が自分で選べないとは限りません。どこへ行きたいのか。 何を食べたいのか。 誰と会いたいのか。 どのように暮らしたいのか。身体に介助が必要になっても、自分の人生を選ぶ力まで失われるわけではありません。自立だけを目標にすると、「一人でできること」を増やす支援になりがちです。しかし、自律を大切にすると、「その人が決めたことを、どう支えるか」という問いに変わります。介助を受けながら、自分らしく生きる。 人に頼りながら、自分で選ぶ。それもまた、人間の自律です。支援とは、何でも一人でできるようにすることではありません。本人の意思を聴き、必要な力を借りながら、その人が選んだ人生を実現できるようにすることです。　自立を支える。 そして、それ以上に自律を守る。選択を尊重することは、介護の技術ではなく、倫理です。おはよう、私。 今日も良い一日でしたか。みらい、大好き＞詳細は以下をご高覧ください。 👇 高齢社会OS｜ウエルエイジング・センター  https://wellaging.site/ 【Exploring the Aging Society 025】 Independence and Autonomy: A Difference We Must Not Overlook Independence and autonomy are related, but they are not the same. Independence means being able to manage daily life without assistance. Autonomy means being able to express one’s wishes, make choices, and decide how to live. In care, we must never confuse the two. A person may no longer be able to walk, eat, dress, or go outside without assistance. But that does not mean they have lost the ability—or the right—to choose. Where do they want to go? What do they want to eat? Whom do they want to meet? How do they want to live? Even when the body requires support, the person’s will remains their own. If care focuses only on independence, the goal can become simply increasing what a person can do alone. When autonomy is placed at the center, the question changes: “How can we support the life this person has chosen?” Living with assistance can still be self-directed living. Relying on others does not eliminate autonomy. Care is not about making people do everything by themselves. It is about listening to their wishes and bringing together the support they need to live according to their own choices. Support independence. More importantly, protect autonomy. Love the Future. 【高龄社会探访记025】不要混淆“独立生活”与“自主选择” 独立与自主，彼此相关，却并不相同。独立，是指依靠自己的能力完成日常生活。自主，是指按照自己的意愿进行选择，并决定自己想要怎样生活。在照护实践中，我们绝不能混淆这两个概念。一个人可能无法独自行走、吃饭、穿衣或外出。但这并不意味着，他已经失去了选择的能力和权利。想去哪里？ 想吃什么？ 想见谁？ 想过怎样的生活？即使身体需要他人的帮助，一个人的意愿仍然属于自己。如果只把独立作为照护目标，我们往往只关注“还能不能自己完成”。如果重视自主，我们的问题就会转变为： “如何支持他所选择的生活？” 接受他人的帮助，也可以按照自己的意愿生活。依靠别人，并不意味着失去自主。照护的目的，不是要求一个人所有事情都必须自己完成。照护是倾听本人的意愿，连接必要的支持，帮助他实现自己选择的人生。支持独立。 更要守护自主。尊重选择，不只是一项照护技术，更是照护的伦理原则。早安，我自己。 今天也是美好的一天吗？我喜欢未来。
